Hello! I'm Laurel, and I starting coining the word "Groovy" on a most regular basic about 15-20 years ago. Now "Groovy" isn't a new word at all, what it is as most will remember it from the 1960's with the Flower Power, and Groovy Hippies generations. When we were in our younger years I remember saying something was "BAD" which as everyone knows means GOOD" right? This used to distribute my grandmother something awful, she just didn't get it! "Laurie, if it's good, then why do you say it's bad?" she'd always ask me.... "Cause it's just 'BAD' don't you know!" would be my answer, heck I didn't know why it was that way either, but it was just COOL, to be bad... (whatever) and now my 17 year old son and step son say "SICK" ... Now I'm feeling like my grandmother too! I mean "who the heck wants to be SICK"... OH Well,, inter Groovy...
Just a nice word, that expresses, good feelings, kindness, thoughtfulness, special, and more...
So, I wish all my friends OLD and NEW to have a most "GROOVY" New Year of 2011... I'm feeling very "GROOVY" about the possibilities in store, and I do so hope the same for you and yours....
